Elsewhere in the video it's been confirmed that smoke grenades are going to be temporarily moved to the vault. A combination of player feedback and internal analytics has shown that they're only not existence used equally much as they should exist.

They'll join SMGs there, pending a re-work. Once the team has finished tweaking and testing the new and improved version of the smoke grenade internally, they'll be released back into the game.
